Jaguar Head lining replacement
As many of you know, I have a 1978 XJ6 series 2 saloon. When I bought it 4 years ago I knew the head lining was beginning to sag, but in my ignorance, I didn’t think this would be a major problem. How wrong can you be? I started to try & get quotes. Some just didn’t want to know. Some were looking at well over £1000.Click Here to read the rest of Richard Gregory's article
The Worlds Oldest Running Car
|
This is the oldest vehicle in the world that still runs.
It was built one year before Karl Benz and Gottlieb Daimler invented the internal combustion engine. The world’s oldest running motor vehicle has been sold at auction for an astonishing $4.62 million, more than double the pre-sale estimate as two bidders chased the price up in a three minute bidding war.

YOU’RE VECHILE ON THE WEBSITE
Is your vehicle and maybe your photograph and some write up about your vehicle on the website? It is time it was. Please send a photo of your vehicle and yourself with some details by email to: Andy.Speaking of the website, if you take a look you can see what`s for sale, what’s going on and generally keep up to date faster than the newsletter. Also the member's forum is the best way to express your point of view in between meetings. Again well done to Andrew Leckey for all the hard work that has gone into your website, which from now on will be the Clubs medium of choice for general communication etc.
Vince.
