The new year has arrived.
2018 has arrived and the new car season has started. This also means that this years membership is now due. All the events have now been listed in the events page (Click here to go to the events page). This is a guide to whats happening with more details and entry forms being posted closer to the event date.
Also bear in mind, where an entry form is provided please fill them in and return it to the address or person on the form, This is required by the AOVC for the public liability insurance, which they provide as well as the organiser to help in running the event.
This is the first event of the year, if you don't include monthly meetings. Martin Waterworth has organised a trip to The Tudo Cinema in Comber. This is a private cinema that holds approcimately 70 people o its first come first serve.
We are showing 'The Italian Job', the original and the best, 1969 version. The cost is £5.00 per person and is on the Tues 20th February at 7:30pm and is open to all. As its early in the season and a lot of classic cars are on SORN so there is no age limit on cars. for more information Click Here.
AOVC Annual Dinner Dance
The Association of Old Vehicle Clubs (AOVC) of which are club is a member, are holding their Annual Dinner Dance on Sat 3rd February. The venue this year is Greenvale House Hotel in Cookstown with entertainment by Victor Gregg. Tickets are still available and are priced at £25 each if you wish to join us for what is always a great night out. EAOVC Annual Dinner Dance
The EAOVC Annual Dinner Dance will be held on Frday 9th March. Ther will be the usual Drinks Reception from 7pm, sitting down to dinner from 7:30pm. This year we have given you a choivce of the main meal of either Raost Beef Dinner or Fillet of Salmon in Pernod Cream Sauce. The entertainment for the night is Zolene & the A.L.S. Band. They will be playing after the meal with dancing on ito the night. Tickets are now available and are priced at £25 each.
