Dear Mr. Raj,
Thank you for your willingness to help us once again at hospice. Further to my chat just now, here attached is a copy of the Titanic Run leaflet which outlines our plans for a short 5K run on the afternoon of Sunday 27th June.
Below I have outlined what we are suggesting to your club members if any would be available to join us. Can I suggest that we arrange to meet at the Pump House on the week commencing 21st June to agree what car parking area you will require and to ensure that I allow enough space for your members. I will call to arrange a date and time for meeting nearer the time, once you have had opportunity to speak to your members to gauge their interest.
On behalf of Northern Ireland Hospice I would like to extend an invitation to the members of your club to bring your vintage cars along to our ‘Titanic Run for Hospice’ fundraising event, as an attraction of interest for the many people who will be supporting our 5k Titanic Run on Sunday 27th June from 12.30/1pm- to approx 4.30pm . (The actual run/walk begins at 2pm and lasts approx 1 hour).
The location where it has been agreed that cars can be parked is in the vicinity of the Titanic Pump House off Queens Road, Belfast.
We are trying to create a real family event that will have attractions of interest for everyone, ranging from face painters and bouncy castle for the children to Motorbikes and Classic/Vintage Cars for people to come and enjoy. So I hope that some of you will be able to join us for a fun afternoon.
As parking space will be somewhat limited we would welcome an early response as to the number of cars that will be joining us.
With many thanks for your ongoing support.
Joanna Pawson
